Shapearl Wells has a demonstrated bias against Latinos. She complained that “over 500,000 new migrants [are] overflowing our cities” and taking away government funds from Black people. She even went so far as to claim that the police are in cahoots with Latin gangs to dole out vigilante justice.
Wells has called Obama’s signature achievement, the Affordable Care Act, a “disappointment”, and has called Obama “too scared” to get other legislation passed.
